BBQ03
Tagwood BBQ Argentine Santa Maria Wood Fire & Charcoal Gaucho Grill
The BBQ03SI and BBQ03SS grills offer variations of the esteemed Santa Maria design, catering to different tastes. The BBQ03SS is fashioned from 304 stainless steel for superior durability, while the BBQ03SI is made from standard iron with a heat-resistant paint finish for a traditional look. Both models boast versatile grilling areas, including main and secondary grates, an interchangeable griddle, and S-shaped meat hooks, all designed for a variety of cooking styles. With 15 cm casters for mobility, each version combines practicality with either a sleek or classic aesthetic, ensuring an exceptional grilling experience tailored to personal preference.
About the materials: SI, or Standard Iron, also known as Cold Rolled Steel, presents a more affordable alternative to stainless steel, offering enhanced strength and a smooth finish. Ideal for various durable applications, it combines cost-effectiveness with robust performance. Please note, however, that we do not provide a warranty on the paint finish.

Height adjustable grates
This feature enables you to adjust the grates' height to precisely control the cooking temperature. Simply turn the wheel to raise or lower the main grates based on your needs: closer to the coals for more heat to sear, or further away for less heat, perfect for slow cooking. It's a characteristic commonly found in South American barbecues, designed to give you complete mastery over your grilling experience.
The firebox or brasero
The firebox, also known as a brasero, streamlines the process of lighting wood or charcoal, making it faster and requiring less effort. It ensures the fire stays lit and keeps it distanced from the food. Whether you prefer firewood, charcoal, or a mix of both, this feature accommodates your grilling style. For optimal results, lump charcoal and firewood come highly recommended. Once the coals are adequately heated, they simply drop below, offering a straightforward and effective way to ignite the fire and grill in the authentic style of a gaucho.
Firebricks
Firebricks are designed to minimize heat transmission to the outer panels while also ensuring even heat distribution throughout the grill. This characteristic is a hallmark of the Argentine grill and is considered essential for its ability to prolong the lifespan of the charcoal grill.
